This coin was minted in the Russian Empire in 1822 with a value of 2 kopeks. Obverse: Imperial Russian double headed eagle crest with 1822 written along the bottom. Reverse: "2 Kopeki" written in Russian with K.M. under and a crown over. Wreath all around text.   Coin is in great condition with vivid details. In 1822 the Russian Empire was ruled by Tsar Alexander I. The Napoleonic Wars had concluded 7 years prior and the Women's Patriotic Institute was founded in the Russian Empire. The organization lasted until the fall of the empire in 1918.
